Lehigh Valley Grand Prix operates as an indoor karting facility in Allentown, Pennsylvania, reopening in 2021 with a completely redesigned track layout. Owner Mike McCreary rebuilt the quarter-mile circuit into an 11-turn technical road course on smooth concrete, creating what he describes as “the fastest track in the Mid-Atlantic Region.” The barrier system incorporates over 1,300 Goodyear tires from NASCAR racing.
The indoor circuit features gas-powered karts reaching speeds up to 50 mph through a challenging mix of low, medium, and high-speed corners. LVGP operates separate programs for Junior racers (ages 8-17) and Adult racers (ages 15+), offering casual racing and competitive league programs.
The facility is the only indoor karting venue in the Mid-Atlantic region to offer position-based feature racing rather than lap-time scoring, providing authentic race formats for competitive drivers seeking skill development in a professional indoor environment.
