New Jersey Motorsports Park opened in 2008 on 500 acres in Millville, built on land adjacent to the Millville Executive Airport—a former WWII Army Air Field that served America’s defense efforts starting in 1941. The complex features two full-scale road courses and Tempest Raceway, the park’s dedicated karting facility, consistently ranked among the top outdoor karting complexes in the United States.
Tempest offers eight different track configurations, with the Liberator layout serving as one of the two primary circuits alongside the Avenger.
The Liberator configuration utilizes portions of Tempest’s 1.1-mile karting complex, designed to run simultaneously with the Avenger layout when needed. The facility operates arrive-and-drive rental programs, competitive leagues split between 25-and-under and 25-and-up age groups, and hosts organized racing events throughout the season.
Located roughly two hours from both Philadelphia and New York City, Tempest Raceway draws competitors from across the Mid-Atlantic region for everything from casual track days to championship-level karting competition.
